Hand Solder - IPC Certified

Title: Hand Solder Technician

Reports to: Supervisor

Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for detailed hand soldering and de-soldering of electronic PC boards assembly

·       Knowledge of IPC quality standards

·       Able to identify and has a good working knowledge of electronic components

·       Able to identify reference designator locations on printed wiring assemblies

·       Responsible for quality control and all applicable documentation pertaining to soldering operations

·       Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, equipment and procedures

·       Requires good communications skills both verbal and written

·       Must have recent hand soldering experience (this is not a machine soldering position) in a fast-paced environment or on an assembly

·       Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area

·       Able to pass soldering test prior to employment

·       Able to work with minimum supervision

Skills/Qualifications:

·       Soldering skills

·       IPC 610 Certification

·       J Standards knowledge is a Plus

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
