Hand Welder/Equipment Operator-Strive Fab 1St Shift

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments is seeking a full-time Hand Welder/Equipment Operator to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 1st shift.This position is responsible for hand welding product and operating all other fabrication equipment in the cell including monitoring the auto bender machines. In addition, individuals in this role will provide direction to fabrication cell technicians. This position is also responsible for:

Successfully hand weld products based upon production schedule needsMaintain high levels of quality and ensure product is welded properlyOperate fabrication equipment in the cell such as Robotic Welders, Hydraulic Banks, Saws, Benders, Drill Presses, and Auto BendersOperate tools required in the cell such as hand held drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screw drivers, wrenches and any other tools that may be required in the areaOperating, editing and programming tube or wire bending equipment in the cellFollow production schedules, determine what should run and huddle with the team

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or EquivalentLeadership experience/training helpful (but not required).

Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not requiredTeam PlayerComputer knowledgeWillingness to learnAbility to train on any shiftPositive Attitude

Physical Requirements:

Working in areas where it can get warmWorking in a smoke free environmentActivities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bendingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift:

This is a 1st Shift positionHours are 6am-2pm Monday - FridayOvertime during busy season
