Hand Welder Weekend Shift

Pay:$32.00 per hour(Performance-based increase to $34.00 $36.00/hour after 90 days based on NDE rejection rate and production metrics)

Shift:Friday Sunday | 6: 00 AM 6: 00 PM(Work 36 hours, paid for 40!)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hand Welder to join a growing pipe fabrication team on a weekend shift. This position is responsible for producing high-quality pipe welds using multiple welding processes while meeting strict quality standards and production goals.

The ideal candidate has extensive pipe welding experience, can interpret blueprints and weld symbols, and is committed to producing precision welds that meet code requirements.
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience in pipe welding and fabrication
Proficiency in Stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Flux Core (FCAW) welding processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable attendance and ability to work a consistent weekend schedule
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform pipe welding using SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW processes
Complete pipe fabrication projects according to engineering drawings and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication documents
Inspect completed welds for quality, size, appearance, and defects
Ensure all welds meet customer specifications and applicable welding codes
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
Meet production goals while maintaining exceptional quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in industrial pipe fabrication environments
Knowledge of welding codes and quality standards
Experience working with NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) requirements
Strong fabrication and fit-up skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout 12-hour shifts
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to safely wear required welding PPE for extended periods
Comfortable working in a manufacturing and fabrication environment
Work Environment
Industrial pipe fabrication facility
Fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment
Exposure to welding equipment, heat, sparks, fumes, and heavy materials
Required PPE must be worn at all times in accordance with company safety policies
