Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute IT strategy aligned with business goals and growth priorities
- Provide strategic direction while ensuring decisions are practical, scalable, and cost-effective
- Lead modernization initiatives including system upgrades, standardization and process improvement
- Serve as the primary technical authority within the organization and will partner closely with the managed service provider (MSP)
- Oversee IT operations including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and support services delivered through the MSP
- Evaluate and upgrade existing systems and tools to improve performance, reliability, and security
- Manage IT budget, vendor relationships, and technology partnerships
- Operate within a Microsoft-based environment, leveraging Microsoft technologies as the core of the enterprise ecosystem
Qualifications
- IT leadership experience in smaller (+/-100 person company)
- Strong ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
- Experience working across infrastructure, applications, and enterprise systems
- Strong experience in Microsoft environments
- Strong understanding of working with MSPs
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, system integration, and IT operations
