About the Role: S & A Property Preservation Group is looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team in Bloomfield, NJ! This is a great opportunity to put your trade skills to work across a variety of hands-on tasks while being part of a dedicated property services team. If you take pride in quality work and love tackling a wide range of projects, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Perform general repairs and maintenance across residential and commercial properties
Complete carpentry, , painting, and flooring tasks as needed
Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance issues
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to quality standards
Communicate job status and progress updates to supervisors and clients
Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good working condition
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Handyman or in a general maintenance/repair role
Working knowledge of house repairs
Ability to read and interpret work orders
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions
