Richdale Apartments is hiring a motivated Entry-Level Carpenter / Handyman to join our Maintenance and Renovation team at our Class A communities in Minneapolis. This role is ideal for someone with basic carpentry or handyman experience who wants steady, full-time work and the opportunity to build their skills alongside experienced tradespeople.
Responsibilities
- Provide general maintenance and light carpentry support across four Minneapolis properties
- Perform basic interior repairs including drywall patching, painting, minor flooring repairs, and simple framing work
- Assist with installation and replacement of fixtures such as mirrors, countertops, cabinets, and hardware
- Install and repair doors, locks, blinds, closet doors, and basic window components
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Respond to maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner

Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in carpentry, construction, apartment maintenance, or handyman work preferred
- Apprentice-level candidates encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team
- Good communication skills when interacting with residents and staff
- Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
