Description
Empro Staffing specializes in providing skilled supplemental personnel to the healthcare industry, ensuring nursing homes and healthcare facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. We are currently seeking a Utility/Electrical/Maintenance Worker to join our team and support our nursing home clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, electrical repairs, and supporting the overall operation of the nursing home facility. Your work will contribute to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and functional environment for residents and staff.
Hourly Rate: $23
Pay Period: Sunday to Saturday
Pay Schedule: Weekly, every Thursday via Direct Deposit
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance duties including electrical repairs and troubleshooting within the nursing home facility.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritizing urgent electrical issues.
Assist in routine cleaning, waste removal, and support roles as needed to maintain a safe environment.
Maintain maintenance tools and equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
Collaborate with nursing home staff to coordinate maintenance activities that minimize disruption to residents.
Comply with health and safety regulations and protocols at all times.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proven experience in general maintenance with strong electrical skills, preferably in a nursing home or healthcare setting.
Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, repairs, and safety procedures.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a team.
