Battistoni Italian Specialty Meats has been around for 95 years and we are looking for someone to help maintain our older building and to assist with random things that come up in running an artisan meat production facility. We make pepperoni, salamis and other artisan specialty meats.
This year, the company was taken over by a new team that is focused on eliminating preservatives from everything we make. The energy in the building is pretty amazing.
This job is for someone that wants to wear a lot of hats. The perfect candidate has worked in various construction roles and is looking for a new place to call home.
Immediate projects include:
- Wall repairs
- Flooring
- Framing
- Welding
And if the projects go dry, we will want this person to help in the warehouse wherever is needed. This person will work closely with several departments and will become a key person in the organization pretty quickly.
Compensation: $18-$25/hour depending on experience. Promotion from within, bonuses, insurance are all possibilities.
Please submit your resume, or a list of where you have worked recently and of course your skills. We would love to also hear why working in the food industry would be a good fit for you. Note, that your day to day may be more construction with us, but we are trying to build a culture of food lovers.
