Job Summary
A Patio Installer is responsible for constructing high‑quality outdoor living spaces, including patios, walkways, and hardscape features. This role involves hands‑on installation work, site preparation, material handling, and ensuring each project meets design specifications and customer expectations.

You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Past experience as a landscaper is preferred and a positive attitude is a must! 

Responsibilities: 
 
  • Install patios using materials such as pavers, natural stone, concrete, brick, or composite systems 
  • Prepare job sites, including excavation, grading, leveling, and base preparation
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment (saws, compactors, skid steers, etc.)
  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and layout drawings
  • Ensure proper drainage, slope, and structural integrity of all installations
  • Load, unload, and transport materials safely
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
  • Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and supervisors
  • Follow company standards, safety protocols, and local building regulations
  • Assist with related hardscape tasks such as retaining walls, steps, edging, and outdoor features
Qualifications
  •  Experience in hardscaping, landscaping, masonry, or             construction preferred
  • Strong understanding of base prep, compaction, and leveling techniques
  • Ability to lift 50–80 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in patio installation
  • Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Preferred Skills


  • Experience with paver systems (ICPI certification is a plus)
  • Knowledge of drainage solutions and grading
  • Ability to operate machinery such as skid steers or mini‑excavators
  • Problem‑solving and on‑site decision‑making
Work Environment


This role involves physical labor, outdoor work, and occasional long hours during peak seasons. Projects may require bending, kneeling, lifting, and working on uneven surfaces.
