Title: Hardware Bench Test Engineer

Location: Berkeley, CA 94710

Duration: 06 months of contract to hire | Onsite  

Pay Range:  $55/Hr. to $60/Hr.

Job Description: 

• Read PCBA requirements and derive/develop test procedures from a schematic + requirement (this is the core skill — not just execution)
• Document test plans and procedures (significant documentation component)
• Execute tests hands-on at the bench using real hardware — not automated/scripted testing
• Work is system/board-level (PCBA — multiple chips/components interacting on a board), not single-chip/component-level testing

Must-Haves

• Test engineering experience — test development / test planning (not just execution)
• Demonstrated ability to take a schematic + requirement and derive appropriate test methodology
• Hands-on lab bench experience: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies
