Job Description- This is an Onsite Position
- Candidate must have experience with Creo and Pro Cable.
Summary- The main function of a hardware Electrical-Mechanical Designer position is responsible for modeling and drawing generation of a wide range of mechanical hardware and components designed for use in elevator systems and Creo Cable and E3 Zuken WD.
- The candidate should not only be adept at handling typical design tasks (modeling and detailing) but must be able to effectively communicate cross-functionally.
Job Responsibilities- Provide design support to internal and external customers
- Modify and develop new component solutions to increase product robustness
- Support resolution of engineering issues
- Develop component and system level models and drawings
- Support cost reduction efforts
- Support FTB reduction
- Support Engineers with 3D studies and prototyping
- Support engineering CN process
- Support to system level model updates
Technical Skills- E3 Series
- must be able to work onsite
- Proficiency in Pro Cable
- PTC Creo Parametric
Role Specific Skills & Competencies- Experience with Creo 10 or higher
- Proficiency in Pro Cable
- Programming experience using Notepad
- Component, Assembly, Subsystem, and System Modeling
- Use of advanced mathematics techniques for part fitment and design feasibility
- Experience with defining welding, GD&T, Tolerancing, material specifications and finishes within drawings and models
- Parametric Design and programming
- Collaboration with Engineers and internal customers
