Job Title: Hardware / Electrical Engineer
Location: Melbourne, FL (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities
Design and simulate hardware using VHDL, Verilog, and System Verilog
Develop and maintain UVM-based verification environments
Perform FPGA verification, lab testing, and hardware validation
Conduct timing analysis, lint checks, and clock-domain crossing (CDC) verification
Support DO-254 certification by creating required documentation and artifacts (DAL-A level)
Participate in FAA certification audits (SOI reviews)
Work through full hardware lifecycle: requirements, architecture, design, synthesis, and implementation
Collaborate with offshore/remote teams and provide technical and DO-254 process guidance
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in FPGA or ASIC design/verification (5+ years preferred)
Expertise in System Verilog and/or UVM
Hands-on experience with FPGA verification or lab testing
Familiarity with Xilinx FPGA platforms (preferred)
Knowledge of DO-254 avionics safety standard (must-have)
Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field
