Minimum qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Hardware Engineer-related occupation.
  • Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:
    • Design and validation of hardware subsystems accounting for performance-power trade-offs
    • Debugging program code, firmware, and software or troubleshooting hardware, electrical, and mechanical systems through root cause analysis
    • Data analysis to generate solutions and develop strategic plans of action
    • Systems architecture design to optimize system performance, reliability, and cost
    • Technical documentation of systems, software, and hardware specifications

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $176,700 - $189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze hardware components to identify key issues, performance trade-offs, and potential risks.
  • Develop and implement corrective solutions to address and resolve complex hardware failures.
  • Optimize constrained or intricate hardware components to meet performance, power, and cost targets.
  • Review hardware designs, including schematics, block diagrams, and layouts, to anticipate and mitigate issues.
  • Validate hardware functionality and performance by conducting rigorous testing and analyzing results.Document the complete hardware design, implementation, and validation results throughout the product lifecycle.
