The Hardware Engineering Manager leads a team of design engineers while
contributing hands-on to the design, prototyping, and testing of PCBs and
PCBAs. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration
with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality hardware
products.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead,
mentor, and develop a team of hardware engineers.
Design,
develop, and test PCBs and PCBAs with a focus on quality and
manufacturability.
Oversee
schematic design, layout, and component selection.
Manage
hardware projects from concept to production.
Collaborate
with firmware, software, and mechanical teams.
Drive
process improvement and adopt new hardware technologies.
Ensure
compliance with customer and industry standards.
Requirements
5+
years in hardware engineering (PCB design/fabrication).
2+
years in management or technical leadership.
Experience
with PCBA testing (functional, ICT, boundary scan).
Proficiency
in PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence, etc.).
Strong
debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent
communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
