Position Summary

Liberty Staffing is hiring a skilled Hardware Operator to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for setting up and installing hardware components into sheet metal parts while maintaining quality, accuracy, and production timelines. The right candidate knows their way around hardware machines and takes pride in doing precise, consistent work.

Key Responsibilities

• Install hardware according to manufacturer specifications
• Set up and operate hardware installation machines (Auto-Sert, Haeger, or similar)
• Perform stud welding, spot welding, and tapping operations
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
• Complete preventative maintenance on equipment as required
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines
• Accurately track time by clocking in and out of jobs
• Support continuous improvement efforts on the production floor
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist in other departments as needed

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating hardware installation equipment
• Experience with Auto-Sert and/or Haeger machines preferred
• Familiar with hardware components such as nuts, studs, and standoffs

Skills & Requirements

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a production environment with deadlines
• Willingness to cross-train and support other areas
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015, AS9100, and ISO13485 standards is a plus
• Epicor experience is a plus
