Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience working in business operations and product launches.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data and managing multiple projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing and refining processes with precision, with a bias toward action and accountability.
  • Experience with AI across a suite of Gemini tools.
  • Experience balancing multiple projects with urgent timelines simultaneously, and managing cross-functional programs with internal and external teams.
  • Ability to align and guide internal and external teams across functions, and with urgent deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and succinct presentation, especially at the executive level.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

As a member of the business team, this role involves guiding cross-functional programs to launch new hardware, and delivering projects with established partners to achieve jointly aligned objectives and key results. You will be part of a focus area for the Google Home and Health organization, and help guide it to scale with velocity and efficiency. You will have a business owner mindset, creating structure and guiding cross-functional internal and external teams, with a focus on delivering ongoing results and impact. You will be team-oriented with communication skills, attention to detail, and thought leadership in developing solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$218,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Work with up to 25 cross-functional teams (business, marketing, product planning, logistics, finance, hardware, software, apps, legal, compliance, etc.) to deliver product launches across Home (Nest) and Health (Fitbit's) current and forthcoming portfolio of products.
  • Guide programs, developing executional strategy and crafting an aligned and streamlined operational plan. Provide expertise and thought leadership to deliver efficiency in overall launch operations.
  • Develop schedules, track milestones, and create contingency plans for deliverables.
  • Communicate priorities, risks, and schedules to executive management. Build relationships with internal cross-functional teams and leaders while delivering consensus and accountability across all functions at all levels.
  • Provide technical and infrastructure expertise to enable scale across product.
