Job Description
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of industry experience as a hardware lab technician, ideally for RF hardware
- Linux, Python for test programing
- Strong understanding of fine-pitch soldering, SMT rework, as well as BGA packages
- Proficient with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and related tools
- Experience with mechanical assembly for hardware prototypes through to production
- Knowledge of Linux to control and interface with instruments is helpful
- RF test experience with VNAs, noise figure systems, and spectrum analyzers is helpful
Responsibilities:
- Set up and support test configurations as defined by the engineering team as well as those developed on your own
- Operate and maintain lab test equipment and tools
- Update and manage firmware, drivers, and associated software for test instrumentation
- Mechanical assembly of hardware prototypes as well as final builds
- Perform SMT rework on surface mount PCBs, including 0402, TSOP, SOJ, BGA, and FQFP packages.
