Job Title: Hardware Test Engineer
Location: Broadview Heights, OH (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:
Hardware Test Engineer to support electrical verification and validation of low-voltage electronic systems. The candidate will be responsible for executing test protocols, analyzing device behavior, and ensuring product performance meets design and quality requirements. This role requires strong hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and the ability to interpret schematics and embedded system interactions.
Relevant Experience 2 – 4 years
Technical/Functional Skills

• Hands-on experience in electrical testing of low-voltage electronics
• Proficient in using lab equipment: DVM, oscilloscope, data logger, electronic loads, power supplies, environmental chambers, battery testers, torque and force tools
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and test protocols
• Strong understanding of embedded system behavior during hardware testing
• Data collection, analysis, and reporting skills

Experience Required

• Experience in electrical verification and validation of electronic devices
• Practical exposure to lab-based testing environments and instrumentation
• Background in testing systems involving embedded software
• Experience troubleshooting and analyzing device performance issues

Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute electrical testing based on defined test protocols
• Set up and operate test equipment for validation activities
• Observe and analyze device behavior, especially during embedded system interaction
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, documenting findings clearly
• Interpret schematics and ensure tests align with design requirements
• Prepare test reports and provide feedback for product improvement
