Job Description:
Hardware Test Engineer to support electrical verification and validation of low-voltage electronic systems. The candidate will be responsible for executing test protocols, analyzing device behavior, and ensuring product performance meets design and quality requirements. This role requires strong hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and the ability to interpret schematics and embedded system interactions.
Technical/Functional Skills
- Hands-on experience in electrical testing of low-voltage electronics
- Relevant Experience 2 4 years
- Proficient in using lab equipment: DVM, oscilloscope, data logger, electronic loads, power supplies, environmental chambers, battery testers, torque and force tools
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and test protocols
- Strong understanding of embedded system behavior during hardware testing
- Data collection, analysis, and reporting skills
Experience Required
- Experience in electrical verification and validation of electronic devices
- Practical exposure to lab-based testing environments and instrumentation
- Background in testing systems involving embedded software
- Experience troubleshooting and analyzing device performance issues
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute electrical testing based on defined test protocols
- Set up and operate test equipment for validation activities
- Observe and analyze device behavior, especially during embedded system interaction
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, documenting findings clearly
- Interpret schematics and ensure tests align with design requirements
- Prepare test reports and provide feedback for product improvement
