Summary
Successful candidates will have experience with electrical assemblies, soldering or cable assemblies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all required duties including the location and shrinking of maker bands on cable assemblies.
- Assembly of multi-cable harnesses.
- Work from schedules, written and oral, to produce cable assemblies compliant with specifications of manufacturing instructions.
- Detect and report defective material, faulty instructions, unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Ability to gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized manner.
- Manual dexterity to handle small hand crimping tools/cutters/heat gun.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environment.
- Numerous hand assembly operations based on detailed instructions.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assembles.
- Perform all other duties assigned by manager.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Education
- Effective experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Good math skills with ability to count and measure
- Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Able to do repetitive piece work and hit production goals
