    Description

    Varstaff is looking for an Electrician III.

    About the Job: In this role, you will serve as a Harnessing / Electrical Technician supporting critical electrical assembly, harness fabrication, and integration activities for space systems and ground support equipment. You will be responsible for preparing cables, executing high-precision connector terminations, routing and securing complex harnesses, and installing electrical hardware. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will troubleshoot electrical issues during assembly, conduct continuity checks, and perform essential testing to ensure maximum reliability for flight-ready and test hardware.

    Shift Details & Schedule

    • Shift: A Shift | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (Must have flexibility to cover B Shift hours, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM PST, 1–2 times per month)

    • Start Date: Immediate availability to start as soon as possible (Target start: week of August 10, 2026)

    What We’re Looking For Education & Experience

    • Proven hands-on experience in electrical harness fabrication, assembly, installation, and routing within high-reliability environments.

    • Demonstrated experience supporting prototype, test, or production electrical/electronic hardware integration.

    • Prior experience working in manufacturing, assembly, and flight/ground hardware integration environments.

    • Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.

    Must-Have Skills

    • Harness Fabrication & Assembly: Deep proficiency in wire preparation, crimping, precision connector termination, and custom cable management.

    • Routing & Installation: Expertise in routing, securing, and integrating complex wire harnesses and electrical hardware components within tight spatial constraints.

    • Troubleshooting & Testing: Demonstrated capabilities in troubleshooting electrical installation, fit-up, and routing issues, along with executing basic continuity checks and electrical testing.

    • Tools & Test Equipment: Hands-on mastery of standard electrical assembly hand tools, precision crimp tools, and basic test instrumentation.

    Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

    • Familiarity with vacuum chamber systems.

    • Experience working with furnace reactor systems.
