Harvest Carton Yard Forklift Operator

The Role: This role involves loading/unloading materials, breaking pallet loads, listing shipments, cleaning the Carton Yard, and assisting with inventory. Key requirements include forklift certification, math skills, the ability to work independently, and availability for rotating shifts. Must be willing to relocate to CA or AZ. Bilingual skills and computer knowledge are preferred, and reliable attendance is required. Location(s): Salinas, CA; Tres Picos, CA; Imperial, CA; Yuma, AZ Areas of Responsibility:Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, lifting devices, and harvest supply trucksBreaks pallet loadsLists Cargo ShipmentsCleans Carton YardAssists in Inventory ControlAny other work as assigned Preferred Qualifications:Must be able to be certified to operate a forkliftMust have good math skillsMust be a self-starter with minimal supervisionMust work independently with great attention to detailMust be able to work a rotating shiftMust be able to work at least six days a week, regularly and reliablyMust be able to relocate to other production areas such as Imperial and Five Points, California and Yuma, ArizonaBilingual in English/Spanish (read and write) is preferred but not requiredForklift-certified candidates preferredRegular, reliable, and predictable attendanceComputer skills desirable
