Looking for a seasonal opportunity to earn extra income during harvest? We're hiring Harvest Scale Operators to join our team for the 2026 harvest season. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who is organized, dependable and comfortable working long hours during peak harvest.
Position Details
Seasonal position lasting approximately 4 6 weeks
Start date: September 8, 2026
Hours vary and include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and extended shifts
Expect to work 6 7 days per week during harvest
Applicants must be available to work the entire harvest season with no planned time off
Job Responsibilities
Weigh inbound and outbound grain using the scale system
Grade and test grain and wheat
Collect grain samples using a grain probe
Operate moisture testing equipment
Accurately complete required paperwork
Answer phones and assist customers in a professional manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Computer experience required
Strong reading, writing and basic math skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Good customer service and communication skills
