The Impact You’ll Make
As a Harvest Operations Supervisor, you will lead a production team and product line in a fast-paced butcher manufacturing environment. Your leadership will directly influence safety, food quality, team engagement, and operational results.
You will:
Build a high-performing team that delivers results safely and consistently
Drive accountability to KPIs, quality standards, and production targets
Champion food safety and regulatory compliance with zero compromises
Develop team members through coaching, cross-training, and clear expectations
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Your impact will be measured through team engagement, schedule attainment, audit results, cost performance, and the development of future leaders.
What You’ll Do
Lead and Develop Your Team
Train and coach team members on SOPs, safety procedures, and production standards
Lead daily team meetings and drive engagement on the production floor
Coach employees on performance, productivity, and quality expectations
Build bench strength through cross-training and skill development
Drive Harvest & Production Performance
Monitor slaughter and harvest operations to ensure product quality and operational efficiency
Manage job rotations and line assignments to maximize productivity
Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Materials teams to meet production schedules
Conduct product audits and investigate quality or food safety deviations
Meet production volume goals while maximizing yield and controlling cost
Reduce claims and improve operational efficiency across the harvest line
Monitor slaughter operations and ensure product quality standards are met
Provide coaching and hands-on training to develop team members
Conduct pre-operational inspections and ensure production equipment is ready
Submit maintenance work orders when needed to maintain equipment performance
Minimize waste and control product sent to inedible
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe production environment
Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF programs
