3. SAP Experience: The Team needs someone who is familiar with SAP and can start doing transactions right away. Specific Training is provided: This person will shadow the current team and also have access to written and LMS training materials.
4. The Ideal candidate has a background in Account Specialist, AR, or Pricing. Must be familiar with credits/debits, reviewing and adjusting orders.
Additional Notes: The manager has had previous success in this role hiring college graduates with a few years of experience in AS/AR, former teachers, or candidates with 5+ years of experience in AS/AR/Pricing. If a candidate has prior experience using SAP (does not need to be in pricing), this would be a HUGE plus.

Supply Chain is a customer-focused Center of Excellence providing industry-leading service while delivering differential value to the business, today and into the future. We separate our Supply Chain functions into several areas;these include logistics, customer fulfillment, services, trade compliance, and support for business processes and systems.
As a member of our dynamic Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for the pricing and billing of invoices for sales contracts and orders. Responsibilities also include pricing of purchase contracts and obtaining the appropriate DOA signatures to process purchases for payment. You may also handle intercompany and interdivisional pricing, as well as execution of rebates.
This position reports to the Pricing Supervisor and is located at our North American Headquarters in Downtown Houston.
 
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for all customer pricing-related issues.
  • Establish relationships with internal stakeholders and become familiar with customer and system requirements such as rebates, provisional, or formula pricing.
  • Deliver effective communication across sales, marketing, and supply chain to provide answers to price inquiries. Generate customer adjustments and respond with urgency to time-sensitive needs.
  • Assure accuracy of pricing data in SAP and extended systems. Manage system access, macros, and troubleshooting for the business.
  • Calculate customer formula pricing information, ensure accuracy, and communicate to the business. Manage prices in pricing tools.
  • Generate reports containing data required to support formula pricing calculations and competitive pricing discussions.
  • Provide quantitative analysis on customers and market trends to business groups.
  • Participate in monthly price changes and update customer price files based on relevant commodity market changes.
  • Assure invoice accuracy, review metrics, and support efforts to maintain operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the business and credit teams to investigate and resolve chargebacks.
  • Process miscellaneous invoices, including validation, approval coordination, and submission for payment.
  • Participate in contract review and entry for FLaRE obligation.
  • Develop knowledge of enterprise systems (SAP) and extended tools;assist stakeholders in utilizing these systems.
  • Participate in system improvements and customer fulfillment projects.
  • Contribute to team goals and priorities.
  • Model company core competencies with internal and external customers.
Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, or related field OR
  • High School Diploma and 5+ years of experience
Qualifications
  • Prior relevant work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, reporting, formulas)
  • Comfort working with and analyzing data.
  • Experience with SAP transactions
