HBPC Medical Director – Amarillo VA Medical Center

Care (HBPC) Medical Director within Geriatric and Extended Care. This role combines program leadership (51%+) with clinical care (up to 49%) serving complex, homebound Veterans.

You will lead an interdisciplinary team, oversee program quality and compliance, and provide direct patient care across HBPC and other geriatric services (CLC, Hospice & Palliative Care, outpatient geriatrics). Responsibilities include clinical oversight, staff collaboration, teaching opportunities, and program development at the facility and VISN level.

Ideal candidates are board-certified in geriatrics, internal medicine, or family medicine, with strong leadership skills and a passion for caring for medically complex Veterans. Local travel required.
