Oracle HCM Integration Cloud Developer (Remote)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Integration Cloud Developer to design, build, and support integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and enterprise systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of HR processes, and the ability to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions in a remote environment.

This is a W2 role and is not available on C2C, 1099, or for work with third parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Partner with HR, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Monitor integrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain clear documentation including design artifacts, test plans, and support procedures
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance across all integrations
  • Stay current on Oracle Cloud updates and recommend enhancements
  • Support data migration and transformation activities for implementations and upgrades
  • Participate in testing cycles, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Develop and manage inbound/outbound interfaces, SSO integrations, middleware solutions, and data archiving
  • Evaluate quarterly releases and patches for impacts to HCM Extracts, HDL, and related components
  • Contribute to ongoing operational support and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, and orchestration workflows
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent)
  • Experience with HCM Extracts, HDL, and reporting tools such as BI Publisher
  • Proficiency with XML, XSLT, JSON, and SQL
  • Familiarity with security standards (OAuth, SAML) and data privacy best practices
  • Exposure to additional integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato) is a plus
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
  • Background supporting enterprise or multi-region systems preferred

Certifications

  • Oracle Integration Cloud or Oracle HCM Cloud certification preferred

Additional Information

  • Fully remote role within the United States (preference for Minnesota candidates with Central time zone alignment secondary)
  • Occasional travel may be required (up to 10%)
