Description
At the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA), our mission is to shape an evolving environment that helps our members thrive and fulfill their current and future missions. We are seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to direct the Healthier Communities Together (HCT) program. The HCT Regional Director serves as the regional executive leader responsible for translating statewide HCT priorities into coordinated regional action. As a liaison between the Rural Health Transformation Office (RHTO), Regional Care Networks (RCNs), hubs and community stakeholders, the HCT Regional Director provides strategic leadership, operational oversight and performance accountability across the northeastern Missouri region. This position is funded by the federal government's Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) to reshape healthcare in rural communities across America by improving healthcare access, quality and outcomes by transforming the healthcare delivery ecosystem. Continuation of this position is dependent on renewals of this program's financial assistance or funding from related programs.The ideal candidate will possess a relevant undergraduate degree, with a graduate degree preferred, and have at least seven years of leadership experience in healthcare, public health, human services, government programs or a related field. This individual will have a proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and provide strategic direction through program management, planning and performance measurement.The successful candidate will bring experience in healthcare technology, health information exchange or digital transformation efforts, along with a strong understanding of healthcare delivery systems, population health, healthcare transformation and the challenges facing hospitals and health systems. Strong relationship-building, communication and facilitation skills are essential, as is the ability to represent MHA in a knowledgeable and professional manner.This position requires flexibility to travel and work occasionally long or irregular hours to meet program objectives. Because a significant portion of the role will be performed remotely in northeast Missouri, this position is eligible for telecommuting. Additional travel throughout Missouri may be required to support program activities and stakeholder engagement.
