Head Chef (Joy Thai Cuisine Restaurant LLC) (Williamsport, PA):
Continuously develop and refine recipes using traditional Thai traditions and Thai products, as well as modifying recipes as needed; Instructing and supervising the preparation and presentation of meals to ensure Joy Thai Cuisine’s authenticity remains, all standards are met, and the meals are prepared according to Thai norms; Inspecting raw and cooked food items to guarantee that the highest quality products are prepared and served to customers; Creating and organize the daily preparation schedule; Directing the daily operations of the kitchen; Overseeing hygiene and food safety requirements are met; Collaborating with the general manager and owner to align kitchen operations with the overarching goals of the establishment; Finding the best local ingredients, producers, and food suppliers; Ensuring the sufficient stock of materials is kept and stored under the correct conditions; Assisting in selecting the appropriate kitchen staff, tools, and equipment. In order to perform the above tasks, the following skills and experience are required: Experience with Thai Cuisine; Experience using a Wok; Experience working in a kitchen environment; Experience collaboratively working with others in the kitchen industry.
