The Head Coach provides leadership and organization for all phases of the operation of the softball program at Roosevelt University in compliance with all institutional, NCAA and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLAIC) rules and regulations. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, recruiting of prospective students, planning and providing elite instruction and assessment at team practices and competitions, budget maintenance, equipment procurement, scheduling and travel, assistant coaching staff management and engaging with student-athletes to aid in their academic success, retention and eventual graduation from the University.
This is a full-time, exempt position that reports to the Vice President of Athletics and Student Success and is located on the Chicago campus.

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000

Working Conditions
The Head Coach will work in multiple environments, including areas for team practice, competition and recruiting, in addition to an office setting. The Head Coach's schedule will include nights and weekends and travel with team for competitions, as well as for prospective student recruitment and other duties as assigned.
