Head Gardener for a Greenwich Estate

A lovely private family with a beautiful Greenwich, CT estate is seeking an experienced Lead Gardener to care for their residence and grounds.

You will lead a small team and perform both hands-on gardening and care/maintenance of the property, including snow removal and general exterior upkeep. 

This position is perfect for a seasoned professional who wants a stable year-round position for a great employer! Local candidates preferred but the family will consider relocation if it makes sense.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all lawns, gardens, trees, flower beds, potted plants, etc.
• Walk and inspect the grounds daily
• Manage relevant contractors and vendors
• Manage and perform snow removal
• Maintain all patios, walkways, gazebos, etc.

Schedule

• Generally, Monday – Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
• This role may occasionally require flexibility for some extended hours, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

• The clients expect to pay $110-$140K per year commensurate with experience.
  • They are open to meeting exceptional candidates who require higher compensation.
