The following coaching position is available beginning the 2026-2027 school year:

Head Gymnastics Coach

Bloomer High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Gymnastics Coach to lead, develop, and mentor student athletes during the upcoming gymnastics season. The successful candidate will promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth while teaching fundamental skills. The Gymnastics Season begins in November.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and conducting practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and strategy.
  • Coaching and supervising student-athletes during practices and competitions.
  • Promoting a positive, encouraging, and disciplined team environment.
  • Collaborating with other coaches to ensure program consistency.
  • Communicating effectively with players, parents, and the athletic department.
  • Modeling and promoting the values of hard work, responsibility, and sportsmanship.
  • Follow and uphold all WIAA and district policies.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of gymnastic fundamentals, rules, and strategies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to positively engage and motivate high school athletes.
  • Previous coaching or experience is preferred, but not required.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, and a genuine commitment to helping student-athletes succeed.

ABOUT OUR DISTRICT: The School District of Bloomer serves approximately 1,250 students in grades 4K-12 in a rural community 25 miles north of Eau Claire. The Districts three buildings consist of a 4K-4th grade elementary school, 5th-8th grade middle school and 9th-12th grade high school.
