Title: Head Maintenance

Qualifications:

• General maintenance or handyman experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on need
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction
• Dependable and proactive, with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable giving Maintenance staff direction

Reports To: Buildings and Grounds Manager

Job Goal: Provide supervision and direction to Maintenance when Buildings and Grounds Manager requires assistance.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Ensure all maintenance is performed in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of the building and grounds.
• Help work with the staff to maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems under the direction of the Buildings and Grounds Manager.
• Assist in monitoring facility conditions and identifying issues before they become major problems.
• Work with vendors, and contractors as directed.
• Help ensure tools, supplies, and maintenance equipment are kept organized and in good working order.
• Respond to minor emergency repairs or maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Rate: $7,500 annual
