    Description

    Superintendent

    A privately held real estate investment and development firm with a portfolio of retail and mixed-use properties is seeking a Superintendent. This role will oversee active renovation and adaptive reuse projects across the Northeast. This is a highly field-oriented position serving as the owner's representative, responsible for construction execution, quality control, contractor management, budget oversight, and project delivery.


    Responsibilities:


    • Lead day-to-day construction execution across multiple active projects.
    • Serve as primary owner-side contact for general contractors.
    • Conduct frequent site inspections to ensure quality, workmanship, and adherence to plans.
    • Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project budgets.
    • Manage schedules, punch lists, project closeout, and warranty items.
    • Maintain rigorous standards for historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and high-end finishes.


    Qualifications:


    • Active Massachusetts Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
    • Prior field experience as a Field Engineer and/or Superintendent with a reputable GC.
    • Experience with historic, landmarked, or adaptive reuse projects.
    • Strong knowledge of structural systems, building envelope, MEP systems, and luxury finishes.
    • Massachusetts CSL (or ability to obtain).
