Lead Regulatory & Financial Reporting For Broker-DealerEuropean broker-dealer based in Midtown.Job DescriptionOversee the preparation and delivery of all financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.Ensure compliance with SEC and FINRA reporting requirements, including FOCUS reports and Net Capital calculations.Lead the interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory developments.Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance).Partner with senior finance leadership, risk, legal, and operations teams on key initiatives and regulatory matters.Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory examinations.Oversee the general ledger, reconciliations, and reporting processes to ensure data integrity.Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within the reporting function.Support strategic initiatives, including new product launches, system implementations, and organizational growth.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
