Location: Near Albany, NY
Pay Rate: Up to $25 per hour

Position Overview
Our growing client is seeking a dedicated Lead Housekeeper to oversee daily housekeeping operations across its communities. This hands-on leadership role combines routine cleaning responsibilities with team supervision, scheduling, and quality oversight to ensure properties remain clean, welcoming, and well maintained.
The Lead Housekeeper will work closely with maintenance and operations teams while leading a small housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety for residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Operations
- Perform daily cleaning duties across common areas, residential units, and administrative spaces
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property
Team Leadership & Scheduling
- Supervise and support a small housekeeping team
- Coordinate work schedules to ensure adequate staffing for daily cleaning and unit turnover
- Train and onboard new housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures and safety standards
Quality Control & Inspections
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets established cleanliness and safety standards
- Address quality concerns and provide guidance to maintain consistent results
Inventory & Supplies
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory
- Order cleaning materials and equipment as needed within budget guidelines
Coordination & Communication
- Communicate with maintenance staff regarding repairs or operational needs
- Report staffing, operational, or facility concerns to leadership
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train a small team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
