Head Individual Markets Communications In this role, you will define, direct, and execute an integrated internal communications strategy that advances business growth and transformation. You'll lead a team focused on helping key audiences find information, understand change, and stay connected to our strategy, leaders, and each other. Your leadership will influence senior leaders and cross‑functional partners, establish an effective operating rhythm, and foster a team‑first, high‑performance culture.Responsibilities Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy that meaningfully impacts growth and transformation goals across the Individual Markets business.Serve as a strategic advisor to executives and stakeholders, owning change communications for major transformation initiatives across the organization.Map stakeholders, manage risk and issues, and drive adoption communications.Develop content to support strategy execution—including program plans, leader messages, speaker presentations, and event facilitation guides.Define success metrics, produce regular insights, and continuously improve communication impact.Influence and drive alignment across business, strategy, talent, and communications functions.Exhibit Guardian's values in how we act and treat others.Qualifications 10+ years of communications experience, preferably in the Insurance/Financial Services industry or another highly regulated industry.Internal communications experience is desired.Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.Successful track record for executing internal communications campaigns and developing strong working relationships with senior leaders.Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.Bachelor's Degree or professional equivalent.Reporting Relationships Report to the Head of Internal Communications.Location & Travel Hybrid with three days in the New York, NY office. Up to 20% travel within the U.S.Salary Salary Range: $155,370.00 – $255,255.00. The actual salary will be determined based on experience, knowledge, and abilities.Benefits Benefits apply to full‑time eligible employees.
