About the Department
Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS) is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary group focused on delivering customised investment solutions across public and private markets. The team brings together asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager research, risk analytics, and implementation expertise to support institutional clients with complex objectives. FTIS works closely with specialist investment managers, distribution, product, legal, and client service teams to deliver outcome-oriented solutions for insurers and other institutional investors.
Position Summary
The Head of Insurance General Account Solutions - US is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering Franklin Templeton's insurance solutions offering for US insurance clients, with a primary focus on General Account portfolios. The role combines strategic leadership, client engagement, and solution design, working closely with investment teams and internal stakeholders to address insurers' evolving regulatory, accounting, capital, and asset and liability modelling/matching (ALM) requirements.
The role partners closely with the broader insurance leadership globally and contributes to the development of a coherent insurance ecosystem across regions. Success in this position requires strong technical insurance knowledge (statutory, US GAAP, and capital requirements), credibility with senior insurance executives, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to translate complex requirements into actionable investment solutions.

Compensation Range
Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards-monetary and non-monetary - designed to support their well-being and recognize their time, talents, and results. We expect the annual salary for this position to range between $200,000 to $300,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus, depending on location and level of relevant experience.
