Head of Marketing

Sola Kids Dental & Orthodontics | Western US Remote (LA, SF, Phoenix, or Denver preferred)

About Sola

At Sola Kids Dental we believe Medicaid dentistry can be done better and we are on a mission to change lives through exceptional dental care.

We've built a multi-location platform in Los Angeles, and we are now scaling into markets across the Western US with a goal to be the leading provider of dentistry and orthodontics to kids and families on Medicaid. Every new location means thousands more kids getting consistent, high-quality care.

We are a multi-site consumer healthcare start up capitalized for growth and building a team to scale.

The Role

We're hiring a Head of Marketing to own brand, digital marketing, and social across the Sola platform. This will be our first corporate marketing hire.

You'll manage a million-dollar-plus marketing budget, work directly with the CEO (ex-Bain, ex-PE, Stanford GSB) and have a high level of board exposure, autonomy, and upside.

Who You Are

We're open to two profiles. Both require horsepower, ownership, and deep interest in marketing and multi-site healthcare.

Profile 1: General Athlete

You're a top performer at a consulting firm or investment bank with 2-4 years of experience and exposure to marketing. You're willing to roll up your sleeves to become an expert on digital and physical marketing in the first 3 months on the job.

Profile 2: The Growth Operator

You've spent 3-6 years in digital marketing, growth, or performance marketing roles at a high-growth tech startup or a multi-site healthcare or consumer company.

What You'll Own

• Brand: Define our visual identity and voice for multi-state expansion. Audit every patient touchpoint (exterior signage, waiting room, intake forms, appointment reminders, post-visit communications) and bring them onto a consistent, intentional system. Own creative production for billboards, in-office collateral, digital ads, and our website.

• Performance marketing: Own new patient acquisition across paid search, paid social, local SEO, Google Business profiles, direct mail, and community/school partnerships. Manage our agency relationships, set the monthly budget across channels, and hit CAC targets by office.

• Social media: Oversee the strategy and execution of organic Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook in English and Spanish. Build a content calendar, direct the creators, and grow followers and engagement in each local market we serve.

• New market launches: Build the pre-opening marketing playbook new markets and offices: geo-targeted paid media, local SEO setup, community outreach, grand-opening events, and the first 90 days of patient acquisition.

• Analytics and reporting: Build the marketing dashboard. Report weekly on spend, CAC, CPL, and new patient acquisition.

What You'll Get

• Ownership: As we scale, you'll lead the strategy and execution of a seven-figure marketing budget.

• Mission: We are changing lives through exceptional dental care.

• Mentorship: Work closely with the CEO and learn how to operate a growth stage consumer healthcare start up.

• Growth: We're on the ground floor of multi-state expansion. You'll take part in the growing responsibilities and economics that come with our success.

• Compensation: Target annual compensation of $125K-$150K, plus meaningful upside tied to individual and company performance.

Logistics

• Location: Remote-first. Strong preference for candidates based in Los Angeles, Bay Area, Phoenix, or Denver.

• Travel: Approximately twice per month depending on where you are located.

• Start date: As soon as the right person is ready.

• Nice to have: Spanish fluency. The majority of our patients and families speak Spanish, and being able to engage with them directly in their language is a meaningful plus (though not required).
