Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business with a dynamic, growing, service-led outlook, offering a wide-ranging portfolio of solutions across creative, digital, print, ecommerce, display, and fulfilment.
Our clients span multiple industries, including F&B, retail, automotive, charity, pharmaceutical, and health and beauty, and our success comes from our ability to solve complex problems with tailored, high-impact solutions. As we continue to scale and grow, we are looking for a strategic head of marketing to lead our marketing efforts and elevate our group brand presence across all channels.
The successful candidate will own and execute the group-wide marketing strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and growth across our varied business areas, services and sectors. They will be responsible for building a unified group brand narrative and supporting the positioning of each business unit and service offering.
Working closely with the executive board directors, group sales team, and client services teams, they will blend strategic thinking with execution excellence to help the business grow sustainably and measurably, using a test-and-learn mindset to demonstrate creativity, fresh ideation and energy across projects and workstreams.
The role involves taking responsibility for strategic leadership and brand to develop the overall B2B marketing strategy, aligned with business goals and service-line objectives, while championing the Linney brand across all channels.
The head of marketing will define and manage the marketing budget with clear ROI goals, support future GTM activity and translate complex propositions into clear commercial stories, while driving consistency across internal and external communications.
They will need to design and implement integrated campaigns to support lead generation and sales enablement, while overseeing creation of tailored marketing materials and leveraging data to optimise campaign performance.
As part of their leadership role, they will develop the internal marketing team, managing external partners and collaborating with business unit leaders on market dynamics. They will be a strategic adviser to the executive team on brand positioning and will work with sales leaders across the group to ensure that campaigns align with targeting aspirations.
Their role will also include digital and performance marketing, working on a predictable demand generation engine, multi-channel campaign orchestration, and marketing automation and CRM tools to improve targeting, tracking, and conversion, creating content to support brand and sales conversations.
They will establish and grow the company's profile, identifying speaking opportunities, awards, and partnerships to elevate market positioning and implementing emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools, ensuring the marketing function remains agile and future-focused.
