Amazon Pharmacy Payer Relations is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced individual to play a critical role in B2B Business Development working with large healthcare organizations. This position will focus on managing strategic opportunities and partnerships on behalf of Amazon Pharmacy to drive growth and foster patient-centric initiatives for health insurance organizations, pharmacy benefit managers, and other strategic partners.

This role will be instrumental in fostering pharmacy provider relationships with payer organizations that desire innovation in their end-to-end member experience. This role will manage critical relationships with external business partners to create go-to-market products and services that will drive growth and innovation across the pharmaceutical industry.

This role will spearhead business development solutions for Amazon Pharmacy payer strategy, driving key growth and profitability goals of the business. Within the first year, this individual contributor will support and grow existing relationships and strongly influence the business development team's trajectory.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with counterparts on the Health Insurers team to create a differentiated member experience. • Identify opportunities to drive member education and adoption of Amazon Pharmacy. • Identify areas of friction in the Amazon Pharmacy payer experience and partner with internal stakeholders to fix. • Drive RFP and contracting administration.

A Day in the Life:

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the health insurance plans member pharmacy experience while also driving member adoption of Amazon Pharmacy.

Payer relations business development is part of Amazon Pharmacy Partner Services, representing Amazon pharmacy with key relationships for Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), Manage Care Organizations (MCOs), Health Insurers (Health Plans), and industry consultants.
