ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a rare, greenfield leadership opportunity at a well-established commercial real estate investment manager, offering full ownership of a newly established Primary Servicing platform across a growing portfolio of performing commercial mortgage assets. The role carries an end-to-end build mandate like designing the servicing strategy, selecting and implementing technology, developing policies and procedures, building the team, and creating scalable infrastructure from the ground up. With high visibility to executive leadership and direct partnership across Asset Management, Investments, Legal, Finance, and Special Servicing, this is the right seat for an experienced CRE loan servicing leader who is ready to shape an entire business function and grow with the platform over the long term.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and lead the Primary Servicing platform from inception, establishing servicing strategy, operational infrastructure, policies, procedures, and operating controls
• Select and implement servicing technology and systems to support scalable, efficient loan administration as the portfolio grows
• Oversee all core servicing functions including borrower communications, payment processing, escrow administration, covenant monitoring, reporting, and loan administration
• Hire, develop, and lead the servicing organization: defining roles, responsibilities, and career paths across the team
• Partner closely with Asset Management, Investments, Legal, Finance, and Special Servicing to ensure seamless coordination across the investment and loan management lifecycle
• Ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance across all servicing activities as portfolio volume expands
• Drive continuous improvement of servicing processes, controls, and reporting capabilities to meet institutional investor and regulatory standards
