About the Role

Key ResponsibilitiesLead manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, supply, cost, and people objectivesEnsure full compliance with cGMP and employee health and safety (EHS) requirementsOversee production processes, equipment qualification, and continuous workflow optimizationLead site and network projects, including product launches, validation, and process improvementsDrive inspection readiness and participate in health authority audits and internal reviewsManage budgets, project timelines, and financial performance across production and site projectsBuild and develop high-performing teams while promoting a culture of ownership and continuous improvementEssential RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, or a related scientific fieldEight or more years in the pharmaceutical industry, including direct experience with sterile manufacturingMinimum three years of leadership experience managing teams in a regulated manufacturing environmentExperience with regulatory inspections from agencies such as FDA or EMAStrong ability to plan and manage operational processes to maximize efficiency and productivityExcellent leadership and communication skills, with experience developing high-performing teamsDesirable RequirementsExperience or training in radiochemistry or radiopharmacyThe salary for this position is expected to range between $160,300 and $297,700 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits.
