Responsible for safe transportation of Head Start and Migrant and Seasonal Head Start children. Must submit timely reports and be responsible for bus maintenance and regular safety checks. Supports CAPSLOs mission by ensuring safe transportation for Head Start Early Head Start and Migrant & Season Head Start participants.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma • GED or equivalent • Valid California Commercial Drivers License Class A or B with Endorsements P & S • DL-45 Special Certificate Type I or Type II • TO1 Card • Current DMV printout • Original H-6 form with a good driving record • Medical Examiner Certificate DL51A form • Certificates of completion for pediatric first aid and pediatric CPR training within 30 days of hire
As a Bus Driver, you will:
• Pick up and deliver children as scheduled • Complete and submit daily sign-insign-out sheets and roster sheets • Submit timely reports including childrens attendance, mileage, accident reports, and fuel receipts • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections ensuring all safety measures are in place • Maintain the bus in safe operable condition at all times • Operate the bus in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations • Support CAPSLOs mission by ensuring safe transportation for all participants
