Head Start Teacher
So much fun stuff happens in our classrooms every day! Everyday children are guided through exploration and learning activities, they are provided with healthy meals and snacks and they are encouraged to learn through play. We are looking for a classroom leader to guide these activities and more. Lewis Clark Early Childhood Program is seeking a caring person, who is passionate about education, for our Head Start Teacher position(s).

Position Summary: 
Our Teachers serve a vital role at LCECP, they are classroom leaders. They are developing lesson plans and activities that align with the curriculum and they are working with classroom staff to ensure children and families receive the services they need. We are looking for someone who likes being part of a team and making a difference in children’s lives. We are looking for a caring person, who enjoys a fast-paced job.
The Teacher will be responsible for:
  • Developing and delivering lesson plans designed to help children reach their goals
  • Conducting observations and tracking important information accurately
  • Conducting Parent visits and Parent conferences
  • Understanding and developing individual child goals

 Education Requirement: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Experience working with children and families in early childhood settings.
  • Must be willing to get further education as needed/required to acquire or maintain skills.
Hours will vary by location. Wage will depend on experience.
Must be 18 or older to apply.
This position is eligible for full dental and health benefits after 90 days, if working over 30 hours a week.

Compensation: $16.89 - $20.00 per hour
