A manufacturing company in Rockford, IL is seeking a reliable Header Operator for first shift, Monday to Friday, 5am-1:30pm.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate header machines to produce screws and fasteners
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed
  • Inspect parts for quality compliance
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Keep accurate production records
  • Follow safety, quality, and shop procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • Experience with header machines or fastener manufacturing preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read prints, measurements, and specifications
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
