Health Advocacy and Fairness Specialist

About the Role:

Supports the function and growth of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and provides administrative support to the Health Advocacy & Fairness (HAF) office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing existing Employee Resource Groups (Interfaith, Disabilities, Black Culture, LGBTQIA+, Pan Asian, Graduate Medical Education, Hispanic Latino) and guides the development of new groups.
• Promoting the function of ERGs to drive belonging across the organization including both hospital, ambulatory settings and our partners.
• Partnering with ERG chairs and co-chairs to plan events, including budget oversight, logistics, coordinating with marketing team, and advertising.
• Tracking metrics and outcomes related to ERGs and organizational advocacy initiatives to support reporting and continuous improvement.
• Facilitating collaborations between departments, ERGs and HAF councils to promote equity, inclusion, and belonging for team members.
• Managing and maintaining HAF internal website and external website, highlighting health equity and workforce inclusion efforts.
• Leading the collection, coordination, and submission of organizational advocacy surveys, including HEI, AHA, and other related assessments.
• Coordinating and planning educational events in partnership with HAF Educator.
• Providing administrative support for the HAF Office, including expense reporting, invoice processing, budget tracking, documentation and media management.

Requirements:

Experience: 2 years of professional experience in administering diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives and community outreach.

Education: High School / GED preferred

Pay Range: $23.22 to $34.83 Based On Experience
