Under direction of the School Nurse, performs specialized health care proceedings and executes medical orders/instructions for the physical care of medically fragile students. Maintains records documenting the provision of health care procedures. Performs a variety of routine tasks to assist and care for children assigned to school programs. Assists nurses with duties related to the student health instructional program.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or recognized equivalent. Experience working with children with special needs. Experience in a medically related field. Completion of Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certificate.
