About the Role:
Angel Care Home Companion Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Health Aide to join our caring team in Commack, NY. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing essential health and personal care support in the comfort of their own homes.



Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Monitor and record client health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise as directed
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with medication reminders

Requirements:

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred
• Prior experience in home care, elder care, or a related healthcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor toward clients
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with mobility
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation in the Commack, NY area a plus
