Nature of Work

Kanawha County

This position will provide supervision to multiple teams and work focus areas; managing competing and frequently shifting priorities; data management and analysis; investigating/troubleshooting/correcting issues with all components of the WV Immunization Information System (WVSIIS) which may come from a variety of different sources; facilitating interoperability by enforcing data standards; ensuring regulatory compliance and secure data exchange best practices while delivering advanced support; overseeing critical interface integrity.

Serving as a liaison with the contracted data management contractor for WVSIIS. Serving as the liaison with the Centers for Disease Control related to immunization data collection, use and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

Training: Masters degree from an accredited college or university in the area of assignment.

Substitution: One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience as described below may substitute for the Masters degree.

Experience: Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid professional experience in the area of assignment, two years of which must have been in a program administration capacity.

Substitution: Post-graduate training in the area of assignment may substitute through an established formula for the non-supervisory experience.
